Eva Jacqueline Longoria Parker was born 15 March 1975. She is an American actress best known for his role Gabrielle Solis in the TV series Desperate Housewives.

Longoria originally wanted to be a model and sent the photos to a modeling agency, but was rejected because of her height. Longoria attended Marvin P. Baker Middle School and later Roy Miller High School, she later received his Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology at nearby Texas A and M University Kingsville.



Longoria is also an executive producer on Shine Global Inc. 's upcoming documentary The Harvest which is focused on the 500,000 child migrant farm workers in the U.S. and is currently helping them fund raise for the film. Longoria was named philanthropist of the year by the Hollywood Reporter for her commitment to Latino causes and give back to society.
